Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #16: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />1) Increase Weekly Hours of Public Works Mechanic <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to increase the <br />Mechanic's hours to 20 per week through year end. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, and <br />Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Receive Information about Resignation of Full Time City Planner and Authorize <br />Process to Hire Full Time City Planner <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to adopt Resolution #00-06- <br />152 accepting Anita Rasmussen's resignation from the position of City Planner effective June <br />16, 2000, and authorize staff to begin the process to fill the position of City Planner. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, and <br />Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Authorize Hiring of Full Time Public Works Secretary <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to adopt Resolution #00-06- <br />153 hiring Tara Olson as the full-time Public Works secretary, contingent upon a six month <br />probationary period and at her current annual salary of $25,701 with two weeks of vacation. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Hendriksen stated that they don't want to leave the <br />Community Development short staffed so staff should make sure the change is coordinated in a <br />way it does not create problems. Human Resources Manager Heryla replied that she will have a <br />meeting with the Director of Public Works and Community Development Director to determine a <br />smooth transition. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
