Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Lions Application for a One-Day 3.2 Beer License <br /> <br />Police Chief Gustafson stated that the Ramsey Lions have applied for a one-day, 3.2 beer license, <br />for a one-day event (car show) at the Ramsey Quick Lube at 6745 W. Highway #10. The car <br />show is scheduled for August 13, 2000, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Lions have provided <br />the necessary documents required. Under City Code, it is a permissible activity to grant a 3.2 <br />beer license to the Ramsey Lions Club. As has been done in the past, City staff requested that <br />Council waive the $50.00 license fee. The Lions Club is non-profit and generously gives to the <br />Community. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to approve the <br />application for the Ramsey Lions Club for a one-day 3.2 beer license and waiving the $50.00 <br />temporary 3.2 beer license fee for the car show to be held at Ramsey Quick Lube, 6745 W. <br />Highway #10, on August 13, 2000. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Connolly, Anderson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Chalich Trucking <br /> <br />Community Development Assistant Wald stated that the City of Ramsey has received a request <br />for site plan review from Chalich Trucking. The plan proposes to construct an office building <br />west of Armstrong Boulevard and south of 146th Avenue, on Lot 1, Block 1 of Hauser Addition. <br />Chalich Trucking currently has a truck terminal located across the street from the proposed office <br />building at 8049-146`~' Avenue. The facility is proposed to be 1,568 square feet in size. This <br />complies with the 35% building coverage restriction and all setback requirements.
