Voting No: Councilmcmbcr Zimmcrman. <br /> <br />Mayor Gmnec recessed the regular City Council meeting at 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 9:27 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #7: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />1) Consider Ending the Probationary Period for the Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt <br />Resolution #00-09-237 ending the probationary period for Rhonda Heryla, Human Resources <br />Manager, and granting her the status of regular full-time employee effective August 28, 2000. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Authorize Hiring of Receptionist/Secretary <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to authorize the <br />hiring of Lana Howell for the position of Receptionist/Secretary at an annual salary of $24,794 <br />with two weeks vacation, and naming Holly Madden as alternate. The hiring would be <br />contingent upon successful completion of background checks and employment and drug <br />screening. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Authorize Hiring of Public Works Maintenance Worker <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to authorize <br />the hiring of Jerome Dube for the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker at an annual <br />salary of $24,794 with two weeks vacation contingent upon successful completion of background <br />checks and employment and drug screening. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
