2) <br /> <br />Request by Residents to Install a Four-Way Stop Sign at 155th/153ra Avenue NW and <br />C.R. #56 (Ramsey Boulevard NW) <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that the Public Works Committee explained to the citizens <br />present that it was ultimately Anoka County's decision on whether stop signs would be placed on <br />the intersection of C.R. #56 to create a four-way stop at the intersection. The Committee <br />directed staff to present a letter to the Anoka County Public Works Committee requesting a four- <br />way stop at the intersection of 155th/153ra Avenue NW and C.R. #56. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to ratify the <br />direction of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Connolly, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Update for Storm Drainage Utility Fee for Green Valley Greenhouse <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman stated that the Committee and staff explained to Mr. Davis what <br />would be necessary for his property to be eligible for a storm drainage utility credit. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Update of Sunwood Drive Improvementbetween C.R. #116 to C.R. #57 (Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard NW) <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Kapler stated that according to a recent letter staff received, the State of <br />MN-DNR denied the City's request to amend the permit the City received to cross over a <br />wetland west of C.R. #57. Staff will continue to pursue the less expensive option of crossing the <br />wetland with two box culverts instead of a 100' long bridge. <br /> <br />5) Update on Dysprosium Street NW <br /> <br />This item was discussed at the beginning of the meeting. <br /> <br />6) Update for Mining and Grading Ordinance <br /> <br />City Engineer Olson stated that staff explained that the current ordinance is meant to differentiate <br />between residential re-grading and commercial export of soil from the property. The Committee <br />did not feel they needed to re-write the ordinance, but rather to specifically add an item that <br />would require a permit if the residential grading would significantly deviate from an approved <br />grading plan. <br /> <br />City Council/September 26, 2000 <br /> Page 35 of 36 <br /> <br /> <br />
