C-II <br /> <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION #06-02-XXX AUTHORIZING $77,000 BUDGET <br />TRANSFER TO 2006 ADOPTED GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br /> By: Diana Lund, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Included in the adopted 2005 Adopted General Fund Budget was $32,000 for election <br />equipment, $30,000 for a back up power unit at Fire #1 and $15,000 for confined space <br />equipment for fire. The City was not able to acquire these capital purchases by year <br />ending December 2005 and will need to purchase them in 2006. To show these <br />expenditUres in the appropriate year, the 2006 Adopted General Fund Budget needs to be <br />increased by $77,000. The 2005 amended budget was reduced by the $77,000 and was <br />encumbered at year end in the City's General Fund fund balance. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Approve attached Resolution #06-02-XXX authori2fing the transfer of $77,000 from the <br />2005 Adopted Budget to the 2006 Adopted Budget. <br /> <br />-193- <br /> <br /> <br />
