Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-02-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $77,000 FROM 2005 GENERAL FUND <br />BUDGET TO THE ADOPTED 2006 GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE <br />AUTHORIZED PURCHASE OF ELECTION EQUIPMENT, BACK UP POWER UNIT <br />AND CONFINED SPACE EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 2005 Adopted General Fund Budget was $77,000 for the <br />purchase of election equipment, back-up power unit and confined space equipment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at year end, 2005, the City had not received the election equipment, power <br />unit or confined space equipment or made any partial payment towards; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, $77,000 was subtracted and encumbered from the 2005 General Fund <br />Budget and needs to be added to the Adopted 2006 General Fund Budget to cover required <br />expenditures in 2006. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the City Council hereby <br />directs the Finance Officer to increase its Adopted 2006 General Fund Budget by $77,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of February, 2006. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-194- <br /> <br /> <br />
