Public Safety Board Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br /> PSB RESOLUTION #06-01~001 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CONTRIBUTION OF LAND FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 800 MHz RADIO TOWER <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Kamsey Public Safety Board met on January I2, 2006, and <br /> received a proposal of construction of a new 800 M_Hz radio tower for the purpose of enhanced <br /> radio coverage for public safety; and <br /> WHEREAS, the contrbution of land consists of an 80' x 80' piece of property on the <br /> northeast comer of the current City Hall campus; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Safety Board sees this as a ver~ important safety issue for First <br /> Kesponders in the City of Kamsey; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Safety Board is reqdesting support from the Kan~sey Planning <br /> Commission and the Kamsey City Council with regard to tb]s project. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD OF THE <br /> CITY OF'RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Public Safety Board supports the Contribution of land for the purpose of the <br /> 800 MHz radio tower construction. <br /> <br /> 2) That the Public Safety Board believes this is an important safety issue for First <br /> Responders for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> 3) That the Public Safety Board requests the support of this project from the Ramsey <br /> Plarm/ng Commission and the Ramsey City Council. <br /> <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Public Sat'cry <br /> Board Member Lewandows!d and agreed upon by all members of the Public Safety Board. <br /> Thereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and ag[opted by the R~ey Public Safety <br /> Board this the 12 <br /> <br /> Tom Anderson <br /> /.---: f ,~ Chair, Public Safety Board <br /> r. ......... .! .,., , -- <br /> <br /> J~/fum M.
