4) School Resource Officer Grant Contract <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to adopt <br />Resolution #00-11-317 entering into a contract with Anoka County, the fiscal and contracting <br />agent for Anoka County Children and Family Council, and to accept a grant in the amount of <br />$26,041 to fired a Police Officer to be assigned to investigation as a juvenile and school resource <br />officer at Ramsey Elementary School. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />Renewal of Agreement with T.C. Fields as Agent of Record and Rate Increase <br />Proposal for T.C. Field & Company, City's Insurance Service Agent Company <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to renew the <br />agreement with T.C. Fields as agent of record and approve the rate increase proposal for T.C. <br />Field. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Connolly, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Discuss December Council Meeting Schedule <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that with the bond sale taking place in December it will be <br />necessary to approve those bonds on December 19th. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he as a problem with canceling the second Council <br />meeting in December if they have not completed the Density Transition Ordinance. He stated <br />that he would be willing to meet on December 19th to discuss that issue as well if it is not <br />completed on December 12th. <br /> <br />Consensus was to schedule a limited agenda Council meeting on December 19th. <br /> <br />2) Schedule Work Session <br /> <br />Consensus was to schedule a work session on December 6th at 5:30 p.m. on Cable TV. <br /> <br />3) Committee Meetings <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that there was a Finance Committee meeting held earlier in <br />the evening, which is comprised of the entire City Council, and any Committee that is comprised <br />of the entire City Council should be televised. <br /> <br />City Council/November 28, 2000 <br /> Page 20 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
