4) Replacement of Oxygen Equipment <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to adopt <br />Resolution #00-11 ~296 authorizing the transfer of $433.69 from the Equipment Revolving Fund <br />to the General Fund for the purchase of a demand valve and regulator from PARR Medical. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, and <br />Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />Transfer $200 From the Council Contingency Fund to the Budget of Administration <br />to Fund an Employee Appreciation Event <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to authorize the <br />transfer of funds from the Council Contingency fund to the Budget of Administration to fund an <br />employee appreciation event. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Connolly, Hendriksen, and <br />Anderson. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Schedule Work Session <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he is unwilling to attend any further Council work <br />sessions that are not held on camera based on the accusations that were made by the newly <br />elected Counciimember. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he disagreed with conducting the work sessions on camera because the <br />informal discussions are beneficial. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen agreed, but stated that he is not going to perpetuate what to residents <br />appear to be illegal or unethical even though he himself agrees that the Council has done nothing <br />illegal. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that staff is requesting a work session. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson suggested a compromise by conducting a work session in an informal <br />session on camera. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen replied that he would agree to that, but does not want to have the <br />appearance that they are trying to hide something from the residents. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he would have no problem defending the action of the Council. <br /> <br />City Council/November 14, 2000 <br /> Page 17 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
