Raatikka
Hakanson Anderson Associates
222 Monroe Street
Anoka, MN 55303

RE:

Ramsey City Hall Parking Lot
Lighting
TSP Project No. 88760

Dear Peter:

The purpose of this letter is to review several alternatives
to add parking lot lighting to the existing front and rear
parking lots at Ramsey City Hall.

Option No. 1

Provide twin head 400 watt metal halide standards in the
center of the front parking lot to match existing post lights.
Provide standards along entrance drive. Provide parimeter
lighting at the rear parking lot. Provide sign lighting at
the front of the building.

The fixture locations and proposed wiring locations are shown
on scheme A drawing. The wiring will be in plastic conduit.
The fixture will be 400 watt metal halide on 30' anodized
square non~tappered pole (Sterner Flair - light series). Also
included are contactor, photo switch, and time switch.

Advantages:

1. Fixtures match existing.

Center layout in the front parking lot reduces the number
of poles and provides a higher foot candle at the center
of the lot. The layout also reduces spill light at the
property line.

Denver, CO
Duluth. MN
Minneapolis, MN
Rochester. MN
Rapid C~ty, SD
Sioux Fails.
