CASE ~2: <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PARCELS WITHIN RIVERSIDE WEST FROM <br />B-1 BUSINESS TO R-1U URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF TRORP FINANCE <br /> By: Acting Zoning Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Thorp Finance is requesting approval to rezone Lots 2 and 3, Block 5, <br />Riverside West, from B-1 Business to R-1U Residential. The plat of <br />Riverside West consists of a combination zones, B-1 Business and R-1U <br />Residential. Thorp Finance has stated that they have been unsuccessful in <br />marketing Lots 2 and 3 of Block 5 as B-1 Business because of the presence <br />of residential lots in that plat.
