REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF CEDAR HILLS; <br /> CASE OF MR. WALLY ANDERSON <br /> By: Actin§ Zoning Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />CASE #7: <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Wally Anderson is proposing a subdivision to be located on the 55 acres <br />east of Hunter's Hill Addition and northwest from Mr. Dick Carson's <br />proposed subdivision (Windemere Estates). The proposed plat consists of <br />136 single family lots proposed to be served by sanitary sewer and <br />municipal water. <br /> <br />For your information, the following items are enclosed: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Preliminary plat <br />d) Public hearing notice <br />e) Properties notified <br />f) DNR letter dated October 13, 1988 <br /> g) Letter to Wally Anderson dated October 24, 1988 <br /> h) City Engineer's report dated October 27, 1988 <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />As you recall, the Park Commission met on September 15, 1988 and gave <br />concept approval to a centralized park for Windemere Woods, Cedar Hills and <br />Good Value Homes proposed subdivision. On October 20, the Park Commission <br />rejected the proposed location for that centralized park because a majority <br />of the property offered is wetland. <br /> <br />The City Engineer has recommended that the preliminary plat of Cedar Hills <br />not be approved at this time due to the potential for significant changes <br />in the plat. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Will be based on your discussion. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer ~ <br />Acting Zoning Administrator X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
