CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC REARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, October 11, <br />1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Ninnesota regarding Mr. Glen Hammerschmidt's and Mr. Brock Rammerschmidt's <br />request to vacate the northerly 50 feet of a drainage easement on Lots 3 <br />and 4, Block 3, Woodland Green. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />f~yor Gary Reimanu <br />Councilmember David Bawden <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember A1 Pears on <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David ~artley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />A~ting Zoning Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />Mayor Reimaun called the public hearing to order at 7:41 p.m. <br /> <br />~RESENTATION AND CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />City Engineer Eaatikka stated that Nr. Glen Hammerschmidt and Mr. Brock <br />Hammerschmidt are requesting that the City vacate the northerly 50 feet of <br />a 75 foot wide drainage easement across Lots 3 and 4 of Block 3 in Woodland <br />Green to allow for the building of a house at the north boundary of the <br />existing easement. Mr. Raatikka stated that he has inspected the area and <br />the vacation would not impact drainage. <br /> <br />There was no citizen input offered regarding the request. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Notion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden.
