CASE ~2: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR yARIANCE FROH SECTION 170.016A OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE <br />TO ENCROACH ON THE REQUIRED FRONT yARD SETBACK; <br /> CASE OF ~. PAUL BERTILS <br /> By: Planning Assistant Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Backgroud: <br />Mr. Paul Bertils is requesting a variance in order to continue construction <br />of a home at 16701 Garnet Street ~.W. Mr. Bertil's has stated that the <br />front property line at 16701 Garnet Street is in the form of an'S' curve; <br />this resulted in a mistaken measurement when staking the home location; the <br />foundation was excavated and installed. Upon a subsequent inspection, the <br />Building Official noted that the home encroached the front yard setback and <br />issued a stop work order on September I. <br /> Ramsey City Code requires a front yard setback of 40 feet.
