F) Star City Work Program Subcommittee - <br />Chairman Greenberg stated that the community profile and labor survey has <br />been forwarded to the State for tabulation. The Five Year Plan prepared by <br />the Economic Development Intern needs condensing. <br /> <br /> ~ase 42: Status of Atlas Inc{nerators. Inc. <br /> Some of the Commissioners expressed concern that the petition for the <br /> incinerator question on the November ballot would outlaw any and all types <br /> of incineration from residential to commercial. The concensus of the <br /> Commission was to attend the special City Council meeting with STERN to <br /> discuss the ballot wording. <br /> <br />Case 43: ~ <br />The Commission noted information items contained in the agenda. <br /> <br />Case 44: Star City Conferenca Registration <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fults and seconded by Commissioner Muller for <br />Commissioner Ippel to attend the Eighth Annual Star City Conference in St. <br />Paul, MN. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Ippel, <br />Fults, Muller, Wagner and Hardin. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissioners Gorecki, Kurak and Vevea. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Ippel stated that the MN/DOT Department of Education said that <br />there is the potential to expand the AVTI Avionics program at Gateway North <br />Industrial Airport. <br /> <br />Further discussion of this issue will be on the October meeting agenda. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> Motion by Commissioner Fults and seconded by Commissioner Muller to <br /> adjourn the regular Economic Development meeting. <br />'Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Ippel, <br /> Fults, Muller, Wagner and Hardin. Voting No: None.
