PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission conducted a regular meeting on <br />Thursday, August 11, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Member Present: Mr. John Lichter, Chairman (7:20) <br /> Mr. Roy Shumway <br /> Mr. Don Lokker <br /> [~s. Jill Prall <br /> Mr. Bill Rustad <br /> Ms. Janice Johnson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Building Inspector, Elvin Erickson <br />Merland Otto / Rakanson Anderson Associates <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway called the regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting <br />to order at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ken Swanson - 7721 - 166th - asked to be put on the agenda regarding a 50's <br />dance one night a month at the parks. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Prall and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to add Case <br />~10, pertaining to a monthly dance at the parks, to the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Shumway, Lokker, Pralt, Rustad and <br />Johnson. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairman Lichter and Commissioner <br />Hetland. <br /> <br />Kevin Busch - 17532 Unicorn - asked to be put on the agenda regarding a <br />stoplight on Unicorn. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway advised Mr. Bush to talk to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and to talk to Anne Norris. <br /> <br />APprOVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Prall and seconded by Commissioner Rustad to approve the <br />agenda with the following addition. <br /> <br />Case ~10 A monthly 50's dance in the parks. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Lichter, Commissioner Shumway, Lokker, <br />Prall, Rustad and Johnson. Voting No: None.
