Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Request for Comprehensive Plan Amendment; Case of GM Land <br />Development Company <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director/HRA Executive Director Frolik suggested that Item <br />#4 of the resolution be amended to establish that the amendment shall be effective upon City <br />Council ratification of Metropolitan Council action rather than concurrent with Metropolitan <br />Action. following amendment to item no. 4 of the resolution <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #05- <br />11-389 authorizing staff to submit the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to Metropolitan <br />Council, with Item #4 of the resolution amended as follows:: change "....shall become effective <br />concurrent with the City's receipt of notification of approval from Metropolitan Council" to <br />".....shall become effective upon City Council ratification of Metropolitan Council action." <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Jeffrey, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: Request to Rezone Certain Property from B-1 Business and Public/Quasi- <br /> Public to Planned Unit Development, and R-1 Residential to Public/Quasi- <br /> Public; Case of GM Land Development <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director/HRA Executive Director Frotik indicated the <br />rezoning ordinance can be introduced tonight or it can be introduced after heating from the <br />Metropolitan Council regarding the Comprehensive Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to adopt Resolution #05- <br />11-390 adopting Findings of Fact #0747 relating to a request fi.om GM Land Development to <br />rezone certain property fi.om B-1 Business and Public/Quasi-Public to Planned Unit <br />Development; and R-1 Residential to Public/Quasi-Public. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Olson, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to introduce an ordinance <br />to rezone certain property from B-1 Business and Public/Quasi-Public to Planned Unit <br />Development; and R-1 Residential to Public/Quasi-Public. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
