PAR/~ AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />Regular Meeting of July 16, 1981 <br /> <br />Members Present: Terry McLean, John Lichter, Dennis Donovan, <br /> Don Lokker <br /> <br />7he meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />The minutes of the June 18, 1981 regular meeting were approved on <br />a motion by McLean and seconded by Lokker, with the following change <br />in the fourth paragraph, second line - strike "and agreed that" and <br />insert ", residents claimed that." <br /> <br />The minutes of the special meeting on June 25, 1981 were approved on <br />a motion by Lichter and seconded by Lokker with no changes. <br /> <br />The secretary was instructed to respond to a letter from Dave Homstad <br />regarding Woodland Green Park. <br /> <br />Con~issionmembers reviewed equipment for the creative play center at <br />Titterud Park. Dennis Donovan will request written price quotes from <br />equipment vendors and forward responses to the City Administrator for <br />purchase. <br /> <br />The Council still has not taken action on the confirmation of Ron Hetland. <br /> <br />The Tri-City Park Commission proposal was discussed; however, no action <br />will be taken until further direction from the Council or Administrator. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />John Lichter <br />Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />
