Councilman Cox said the council agreed with him that there is a need for <br />a gas station there, but he didn't know how Mr. Moroz could make one fit <br />to be in accordance with the city ordinance. <br />Mayor Gamec said with a variance, they could possibly go 90' from the center <br />line and 30' from the building. <br /> <br />Mr. Moroz said that would still give him quite a bit of room. <br />Councilman Cox .suggested they discuss the issue themselves because the <br />council can't decide on these matters. <br />Mayor Gamec said he thought some stipulation should be made that the <br />entrance'shown in pink on the map should be eliminated! <br /> Mayor Gamec recommended to the owners that they go over all the alternatives <br /> and come back with thei~ decision to the City Council. <br /> <br />No action taken. <br /> <br />5) Licenses for'A~roval <br />~80-1113 - Motor Vehicle, Sales, Repair and Rental, Sylvan Hohen, 6159 H~ <br />There is no rental or repair, just sales on this one. Mayor Ga~ec told Mr. Hohen <br />that the city is looking at cleaning up Highway 910. <br />Councilman Cox said there was a question at one time concerning the appropriate- <br />ness of a business there and he didn't know if there is still a problem now. <br /> He said he thought the council should be aware of the background there and that <br /> if the building is inconsistent with the ordinance or not should be a criteria <br /> for the council!s decision in this case. <br /> Mr. Hohen said the building is just a small building 8' x 10'. <br /> Councilman Cox said there was also a question of cars parked on the right-of-way. <br />.Mr. Hohen said ~here are guar~ rails there now so ho.one can park on the right- <br />of-way. ' It is all painted and mowed .now and he felt the .council should not <br />recommend him on the past person. <br /> Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded'by Councilman !q~nn to <br /> approve licenses 980-1113 and #80-76. <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Game¢,.Councilmen Sorteberg, <br /> Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> Motion by Councilman'Mickelson and seconde~ by Counci~man Re{~nn to <br /> approve the license for Hi-10 Discount., Inc., #80-00400. <br /> Motion carried.
