PUBLIC HEARING <br />Board of Adjustment <br />City of Ramsey <br />Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a <br />Board of Adjustment Meeting regarding variance for setback requirement, on <br />167th Avenue N.W. (MSAS) Road to place self-service gas pumps in front of <br />the Moroz Hardware Store on July 8, 1980, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Relmann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson called the meeting to order at 7:55 P.M. <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience concerning this matter. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Counc~_lman Mickelson to close the <br />public heaping for the Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the setback requirements. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann said t~e council wants to put the pumps in the right <br />place in the first place. The tanks will have to be put 20' f-rom the <br />easement to give 20' fo~ parking and anothe~ 15' for a fire lane. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said it would be 63' from the center of the road to the pad. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and segonded by Councilman Cox to direct staff to <br />prepare findings of fact and preparation of site plan-be made to be presented <br />at the next re~/lar council meeting of July 22, 1980. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and COx. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said staff will have to write up an agreement <br />on the site plan. He told Mr. Moroz to be sure and sketch the changes <br />recommended on the site plan and to put dimensions on the sketch so staff <br />can check it out.
