Counc ilmember ~ <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />int~ced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81- <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, paragraph 130.092(5) of the Liquor O~dinance fop <br />the City of Ramsey p~ovides for the issuance of two (2) off-sale <br />liquor licenses; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey does not have an ordinance for <br />the issuance of set licenses and a fee to be charged for them; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />State of Minnesota, at their Council meeting of July 28, 1981 directed <br />each Co~n~cilperson to bring in a name of an individual to serve on an <br />Ad Hoc Liquor and License Commission. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C0UNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> l) The following named individuals are hereby appointed <br /> to serve on the City of Ramsey Ad Hoc Liquor and License <br /> Commission for a period of six (6) months: <br /> <br /> The Commission wil~;p~J~ ~ own chairman and secret y <br /> The City office will provide any pertinent information' such <br /> as copies of the City's present Liquor O~dinances and License <br /> O~dinance and other info~mation this Commission may desire. <br /> <br />2) The scope of work for this Ad Hoc Liquor and License <br />commission will be as follows: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Review present City Liquor O~dinance in ~eg~rds to <br />the number of off-sale liquor licenses that the City <br />of Ramsey ~y issue and the criteria the City presently <br />uses which is one license for every 500 people. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Should the City issue set-up licenses and what fee <br />should be established, if the City should issue said <br />license. <br /> <br />3) It is requested that the Ad Hoc Liquor and License Connnisslon <br />submit a written report to the Ramsey City Council at thei~ <br />regular Council meeting of Noven~er 24, 198i <br /> <br /> <br />
