ORDINANCE NO. 81- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />CHAPTER 170.07 OF CITY CODE OF <br />PJ~MSEY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />SCENIC RllrERS ORDINANCE <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE BLUFFLANDANDRIVERLAND DEVELOPMENT OF THE <br />RUM RIVER <br />e* PREAMBLE (See next sheet) <br />The City Council of Ramsey, M~nnesota ordains: <br /> <br />170.07 SCENIC RIVERS ORDINANCE <br /> <br />170.071 <br /> <br />170.072 <br /> <br />170.073 <br /> <br />170.073.1 <br /> <br />170.073.2 <br /> <br />POLICY AND AUTHORIZATION <br /> <br />An ordinance for the controlling of bluffland and riverland <br />development in order to protect and preserve the outstanding <br />scenic, recreational, natural, historical, and scenic values <br />of the Rum River in R~m~ey, Minnesota, iu a msnner consistent <br />with Minnesota Statutes, Section 104.31 - 104.40, Minnesota <br />Regulations NR78-81, and the Management Plan for the Rum River <br />(6 MCAR§§ 1.2700 - 1.2720). <br />TITLE <br />This ordinance shall be known, cited, and referred to as the <br />Sc~ntc River Ordinance; except as referred to'herein, and <br />where it shell be known as, "This Ordinance". . <br />SCOPE AND INTE~PRETATION <br />The provisions of this ordinance shall apply within the desi- <br />gnated ScenicRiver Land Use District of the. Rum RiNer, in · <br />accordance with the property descriptions contained in <br />6 MCAR 6~ 1.2700 - 1.2720. <br />In'heir interpretation and application, the provisions of~ <br />this ordinance shall be held to be mluimumrequirements, and <br />shall not be deemed a limitation or repesl_of ar~ powers or <br /> <br /> rights granted by Minnesota Statutes.
