U <br />M E M O R A N D U M <br />TO: County Commissioner Fields <br />FROM: Ramsey Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />RE: Meeting with Mr. Al Phillips of ALTROM <br />DATE: July 21, 1981 <br />I have scheduled a meeting with Mr. Al Phillips of ALTROM at <br />10:00 a.m., July 29, 1981 at the Ramsey Municipal Center for the <br />purpose of discussing the following issues: <br />a) Property Valuation - Mr. Phillips has brought it to my <br />attention that there are several discrepancies in property <br />valuations which he wants to discuss with us. <br />b) Establishing Valuation - Mr. Phillips wants to get his <br />valuation nailed down on his proposed new manufacturing <br />complex here in Ramsey. He wants to be sure that his <br />valuation will be the same as a comparable structure in <br />Anoka County. <br />We can understand some of his concern, as I think it was the new <br />Grosslein building where the assessors quoted him one valuation and <br />he ended up with a much higher valuation when the facilityc <br />pleted.
