City Engineer Raatikka discussed three options for <br />improvement: <br />1. Pave the road by center of existing right of way <br />with full drainage. <br />2. Pave the road where it is and move where out <br />of the right of way. <br />3. Leave road where it is and gravel and pave with <br />no drainage. <br />Residents would be responsible for restoration... <br />Resident Allen Pearson, 8846 Highway 10 came before the <br />Council and stated the road comes in substantially on his <br />property and he is against any improvements for a road. <br />Resident Jim Felknor, 14520 Bowers Drive came before the <br />Council and asked why allocations for 2nd and 3rd addition <br />instead of one. City Engineer Raatikka stated the 1st <br />would need storm sewer. Mr. Felknor also stated he is <br />pleased with the road as is. <br />Resident Austrid Guy, 14760 Bower's Drive, came.before <br />the Council and stated she is against any improvement to the <br />road. She further stated when people bought or built on <br />Bower's Drive they knew it had a.gravel road and if they <br />wanted a.paved road they should have bought elsewhere. <br />Resident Dave Petree, 14490 Bower'.s:Drive, came. <br />the Council and stated he is'opposed to any improvement. <br />Resident Glen Larson., 14460 Bower's Drive came before the <br />Council and stated he has a house built.in the center-of <br />Lots 30 and 31. <br />Resident Mr. Weidebach, 14230 Bower'_s Drive came before <br />the Council and asked if in'the future all city roads in <br />Ramsey are tarred right down the centerline as staked now, <br />would the residents be notified. <br />Mayor Gamec stated there would still.be a public hearing. <br />Resident.B.il1 Pittman.. 14450 Bowers Drive came before the. <br />Council and stated the road should be left where it..is and <br />as it is now. <br />Resident Tony (could not understand last name ), Bowers <br />Drive, came before the Council and asked when sewer would be <br />coming into Bowers Drive. <br />Mayor Gamec stated if the area had no sewer problems, the <br />closest would be 3540 years. <br />5pC/j:gne. 30, .1981 <br />-4 <br />
