Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to disapprove the Bower's Mississippi Acres street improvement project 81 -3 at this time. Discussion: Councilman Cox stated he felt it would be more appropriate due to the extreme amount of desire instead of repetitioning, readvertise and hold another public hearing. Attorney Goodrich stated he should be specific in his recommendations. Councilman Cox stated restaking of the road creates more problems and the present roadway should be considered. Councilman.Sorteberg stated at this time he is in favor of repetitioning. Councilman Cox stated a neighborhood feud would be created by that and we should have a new hearing. Motion dies for lack of.a vote. Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner and seconded by Councilman Cox to call for public hearing to discuss Bower's Drive as tarring the existing road with drainage where necessary; the entire three additions; not changing the road. Mayor Gamec stated a public hearing notice would.be mailed and the date would be July 28, 1981. Motion by'Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilwoman Van Wagner to have a straw vote at the public hearing on Bower's Drive. Motion carried.. Voting yes: Councilman Cox, Councilwoman Van Wagner, and Mayor Gamec. Voting no: Councilman Reimann. Abstaining: Councilman Sorteberg.
