REQUEST FOR RAMSEY RIDGE PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL: <br />Engineer Raatikka noted the changes from the original sketch plan outlined <br />in his report. <br />Harold Hunt, an adjoining property owner, questioned a road extension ease- <br />ment to be put in for future development of land. <br />M~. Roger Meyer was also in attendance requesting an extension of a road. <br />The consensus of the P & Z Commission is to recommend to the City Council <br />the approval of the preliminary plat with the following changes. <br /> <br /> 1) That a road easement be provided to connect the properties on the <br /> east side of Ramsey Ridge to Sapphire S~l~eet. This road should <br /> be located between lots # 3 and ~ of Block 3,'Ramsey Ridge Plat. <br /> 2) That Sapphire Street extend to 171st Ave to line with the existing <br /> 171 Av coming out on' Variolite Street. <br /> 3)That lot 1 of.block 1 he changed to include~part of lot 9 to allow <br /> a more buildable lot; <br /> The Engineer commented on the drainage ditches and City Administrator Schnelle <br /> suggested that easemtns be acquired for the ditches. <br /> Motion by Ben Deemer~ seconded by Ron West to recommend to the City Council <br /> the approval of Ramsey Ridge Preliminary Plat with the above corrections and <br /> the Engineer' s recommendatlons. <br /> <br />Motion carried. 6-0. <br /> <br />VERNDALE PROPERTIES ' SKETCH -PLAN: <br />Ron West presente~d two plans to Subdivlde-into two lots and one outlot. <br />The PgZ Commission favors Plan B and Mr. West should call for a public <br />hearing for Preliminary Plat approval in January. <br />JACK MENKVELD 'SKETCH PLAN; 'AGREEMENT TO PLAT PROPERTY AT ARMSTRONG BLVD <br /> <br />AND HIGHWAY 10 and 169 <br />Jack Menkveld presented the sketch'plan to the PSZ Commission. <br />The consensus of the commission is to recommend to the Council the approval <br />of the sketch plan contingent on all itents on the engineers report. <br />Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Kathy Schneider to adjourn the Planning <br />and Zoning Meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully su~.~mltted, <br />Arlene Stafford <br /> <br />P & Z Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Page 2 12/2/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
