D-2 ADDENDUM TO COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />CASE #1: <br /> <br />CASE #6: <br /> <br />CASE #11: <br /> <br />CASE #17: <br /> <br />CASE #18: <br /> <br />DRAINAGE PROBLEM: <br /> <br />The following corrected enclosure (D2-a) containing a letter <br />from the Building Inspector dated November 24, 1980 to City <br />Administrator is submitted in place of present enclosure <br />(D2-a) dated November 18, 1980. <br /> <br />~9JNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAY ROUTES REGARDING CITY OF P~I~EY: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-bb) contains the City Engineer's letter dated <br />November 21, 1980 to the Minnesota Highway Department, which <br />outlines the City of R~m~ey's proposed revision to the City's <br />MSAS system. <br /> <br />R~PLEMENTATION SECTION OF THE C0~REEENStVE PLAN: <br /> <br />Exhibit C which contains corrected copy of Implementation <br />Section to proposed City Revised Comprehensive Plan. The <br />City Planning Commission made these changes at their <br />November 18, 1980 special meeting. It should be noled that <br />Council members received under separate cover during the <br />week of November 9, 1980 a copy of the above exhibit prior <br />to Planning and Zonings review. Consequently, the above <br />exhibit is now submitted for your action which is to approve/ <br />disapprove/amend. <br /> <br />REIMBURSemENT PROBLEMS ON FEDER_&L SIGN GRANT: <br /> <br />We just learned recently that we can not be reimbursed for the <br />regulatory and warning signs that we installed at a total cost <br />of $5,765.26 of which $4,423.69 was to be reimbursed through <br />the grant program we undertook this year. The reason we can't <br />be reimbursed is that we did not remove our Watch Out for <br />Children signs and Slow Children Playing signs. <br /> <br />The State Highway Department made an investigation and informed <br />us of the problem. Consequently, they state as long as the <br />signs are left up we don't qualify. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be required if we are to get <br />reimbursed for the $4,423.69. Your action would be to establish <br />a policy on these types of signs. <br /> <br />PURCHASE OF LEAGUE OF CITY BUILDING: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D2-m) contains a memo dated October 21, 1980 from <br />the League of Cities regarding the purchase of their own build- <br />ing. The purchase of this budlding becomes the responsibility <br />of all its members once the Board approves it and a majority of <br />the membership. <br /> <br /> <br />
