pUBLIC HEARING <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />lhzrsuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held <br />a public hearing regarding the Street Improvement Project #80-9 <br />(Whispering Pines Plat #2) on October 15, 1980, at the RamSey Municipal <br />Center, 15152 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Camec <br /> Councilman Sorteberg <br /> Councilman Reimann <br /> Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:50 P.M. <br /> City Engineer Raatikka said some restoration work still had to be done, <br /> but the city needed ts hold the public hearing to get the project <br /> on the assessment rolls for this year. <br /> Mr. Dennis Tomachek, 8111 - l~lth Lane N.W. <br /> Mr. Tomachek said the workers rolled the bituminous too thin and it <br /> is not 1½" thick.in the cul-de-sac. <br /> Mayor Gamec said they will take a borings of that street and will <br /> make the repairs. There has been no final inspection on the street yet. <br /> City Engineer Raatikka said they mainly do visual inspections, but <br /> if there are problems, they do borings. He said he knew the cul-de-sac <br /> is bad, but they haven't repaired it yet. He said they have an <br /> inspector on the job who watches thickness and most of the streets <br /> have 1½" or mo~e. <br /> Don Nord, 8~10 - 151st Lane N.W. <br /> Mr. Nord asked if a person could pay the assessment off in one lump sum. <br /> Mayor Gamec said a person could pay the assessment off in one lump sum. <br /> Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to adjourn <br /> the public hearing. <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor C~mec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann <br /> and Cox.
