PUBLIC HEARING <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a <br />public hearing regarding the Street Improvement Project #80-10 (159th Ave., <br />Ebony, Dolomite & 158th Lane) on October 15, 1980, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15152 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor C~mec <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Cox. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called t~ meeting to o~der at 8:00 P.M. <br />City Engineer Raatikka said the project had not been completely finalized <br />and there was some restoration work to be done. They would be taken <br />care of within the next week. He reviewed the costs of the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Co111ns, 6?26-- l~gth Ave. N.W. <br />Mr. Collins said the workers took rock out of his driveway and put <br />sand in and he thought they were supposed to put in Class V. <br />City Engineer Raatikka said the project isn't final and he would make <br />sure that this is taken care of. <br />Mr. Collins asked why there was a difference in the cost of this project <br /> from the cost of some of the other projects. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said there was more work done in this project. <br /> Mr. Collins said the contractor asked him if he would be satisfied <br /> with Class V instead of crushed rock and they put in sand which was <br /> washed away by the rain. <br /> City Engineer Raatikka said they will put in Class V and take out the sand. <br /> Mr. Collins said he wanted what he was paying for and what the city is paying for. <br /> <br />Mr. Frank Becker, 15921 Ebony <br />Mr. Becket said he concurred with Mr. Collins regarding the replacement <br />of Class V in the driveway. Me said he did not get a satisfactory <br />replacement and he called the City Engineer on two occasions. Me said <br />what they put in there certainly didn't replace what was taken out. He <br />said there are five ponding areas, or~ of which was in his driveway. <br />Mayor Gamec said the city has noted his area for repairs and they will <br />be ~esurfaced. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> October 15, 1980 <br /> Page i <br /> <br /> <br />
