• ADDENDUM TO COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS CASE #9: CASE #11: REGARDING HICKMAN'S FARM MARKET AT THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY #10 AND SUNFISH LAKE BLVD. (COUNTY ROAD #57 UTILIZING HIGHWAY RIGHT -OF -WAY: Enclosure (.D2 -p) contains a letter from the State Highway Department District Traffic Engineer dated October 20, 1980, stating that the Hickman's are infringing on the highway right - of-way. They will be making the Hickman's move their operation back on their own property. Council Action: Your action will be to note that action is being taken on this case. • CASE #10: TUNGSTEN STORM SEWER CONDEMNATION: The Court appointed apprisers awarded the Bloom's $4,000 dam- ages plus $300 appraisal fees. The Bloom's have filed with Court an appeal of this award and, therefore, a jury trial will be held. Pending the trial, the Blooms, as is their statutory right, have demanded the City pay them three - fourths of the Commissioner's award plus interest from October 8, 1979, the date of the taking plus the $300 appraisal fee. Therefore, the Council should authorize by motion a payment to Steven William Bloom and Carol A. Bloom in the amount of $3,648.40. This amount is arrived at as follows: three- fourts of award 11% from 10/8/79 to 10/28/80 appraisal award $3,000.00 348.40 300.00 total $3,648.40 STATE LOCAL AID IN REGARDS TO GOVERNOR QUIE'S LETTER DATED 0C - ZOBER 20, 1980, IN REGARDS TO THE CITY OF RAMSEY'S RESOLUTION 17 -77: Enclosure (D2 -q) contains the Governor's letter dated October 20, 1980 which was in response to your resolution #80 -77. I have highlighted the major issues of concern to the City of Ramsey in this letter which are as follows: a) Law distributing local government aid expires in 1981 - Consequently, this January this our legislators will be enacting legislation that will distribute State Local Aids for years 1982 and 1983.
