Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #23-052 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MUNICIPAL UTILITY TESTING PROPOSALS FOR HY- 10 RAMSEY STREET RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-12 WHEREAS, televising of sanitary and storm sewers and leak testing of watermain is required to accurately evaluate the condition of below ground municipal utilities within proposed Hy-10 Ramsey Street Reconstruction; and WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to four firms for the purpose of obtaining quotes for completing the proposed cleaning and televising services; and WHEREAS, the two cleaning and televising quotes received are tabulated below; and Contractor Bid Amount Visu-Sewer, Inc. $ 17,970.09 Hydro-Klean, LLC $ 91,610.00 WHEREAS, the proposal of Visu-Sewer, Inc. in the amount of $17,970.09 for the televising of Hy-10 Ramsey Street Reconstruction, for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to two firms for the purpose of obtaining quotes for completing the proposed watermain leak testing services; and WHEREAS, the one leak testing quote received is tabulated below; and Contractor Bid Amount Water Conservation Services, Inc. $ 1,196.00 WHEREAS, the proposal of Water Conservation Services, Inc. in the amount of $1,196.00 for the watermain leak testing of Hy-10 Ramsey Street Reconstruction, for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Visu-Sewer, Inc. for said cleaning and televising services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey.
