Absent: Chairperson Elvig. <br /> <br />Update on EImcrest Park Entrance <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reviewed that at the July Public Works Committee meeting several <br />options were presented to the Committee to control the dust on the access road into Elmcrest <br />Park. The recommendation of the Committee was to perform a double seal on the road, which <br />was ratified by the Council. He leamed in mid-September that the material used to complete the <br />double seal is no longer in production and the double seal cannot be completed this year. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Public Works Committee was to reschedule the double seal on the access <br />road into Elmcrest Park to spring of 2006. <br /> <br />TH 47/Pleasant Street Improvement Project <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec directed staff to follow up on the status of the north turn lane onto TH 47 from CR <br />116 traveling east in relation to the TH 47/Pleasant Street Improvement Project. <br /> <br />Damage Due to Resident Driving into Ditch <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed pictures brought to the City by resident Jim Gronlund showing damage <br />that was done by a resident of the neighborhood dnvtng into the ditch located at 169 Avenue <br />and Neon Street. It was noted that the resident was driving a 3A ton pickup with a bobcat loaded <br />on a trailer and went into the ditch to avoid the sign when he could not make the comer. <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to approve the minutes of the <br />September 20, 2005 Public Works Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Cook, Councilmember Olson and Mayor <br />Gamec. Voting No: None.
