DECLARE CERTAIN CITY VEHICLES AS EXCESS EQUIPMENT <br /> By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The fleet of city vehicles has been reviewed and staff is proposing to declare three (3) <br />vehicles as excess inventory and sell them at auction. The City has established an <br />account with the Minneapolis Auto Auction for the sale of city vehicles. Dan Bray, Sr. <br />Building Maintenance Worker, will be overseeing the auction of vehicles for the City. <br />The thxee (3) vehicles proposed to be declared excess are listed below: <br /> <br />UNIT 307- 2FAFP71WSYX1238549, 94,000 Miles <br />UNIT 032- 2FAHP71W93X175806, 101,000 Miles <br />UNIT 033- 2FAFP71W03X175807, 90,000 Miles <br /> <br />City staffwill be reviewing the fleet on a bi-annual. basis for vehicles that are excess or <br />should be removed from the fleet due to condition of the vehicle. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> Authorize Resolution No. 06-03-xx, Declaring Excess Equipment <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> Adopt Resolution No. 06-03-xx, Declaring Excess Equipment <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Finance Officer <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />CC: 03-14-06 <br /> <br />-127- <br /> <br /> <br />
