PC CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDER ACCEPTING LETTERS OF RESIGNATION FROM <br /> PLANNING COMMISSIONER MEMBERS <br /> <br />Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Johnson, Vice Chair of the Planning Commission, and Ms. Deborah <br />Shepherd, Planning Commission member, have each submitted a letter o£resignation <br />effective March 31, 2006 and April 30, 2006, respectively. Staffhas been given direction <br />to schedule interviews to fill Mr. Johnson's sear'and staffis requesting authorization to <br />begin the process to fill Ms. Shepherd's seat. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends the following: <br /> <br />1. Accept the resignation of Mr. Robert Johnson, Planning Commission Vice Chair <br /> and direct staff to begin the recruitment process to fill Mr. Johnson's seat. <br /> <br />2. Accept the resignation of Ms. Deborah Shepherd, Planning Commission member <br /> and direct staff to begin the recruitment process to fill Ms. Shepherd's seat. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />1. Accept staff's recommendation and make a motion that the City Council Accept <br /> the resignation of Mr. Robert Johnson, Planning Commission Vice Chair and <br /> direct staff to begin the recruitment process to fill Mr. Johnson's seat. <br /> <br />2.
