N/Ir. Md')ilda suggcstcd that thc June 2 meeting agenda include formulation of a list of potential <br />task fbrce topics. From all suggestions, a master list will be prepared and forwarded to City <br />Council for selection of a topic to work on next. <br /> <br />Mt'. Max noted that the June 2 meeting agenda should also include final preparations for the June <br />5 public hearing regarding the draft tree preservation ordinance. <br /> <br />Ms. l;'rolik and Mt', Bacon ~vere asked to contact the Fire Department, Public Works Department <br />and Engineering Department regarding potential environmental issues they would like the EPTF <br />to address. <br /> <br />Case/15 <br /> <br />l~rc-proposal for Rcleaf Grant <br /> <br />Mr. Bacon clistributod copies of the draft pre-proposal Releaf Grant and scoring criteria. It was <br />determined that following the land cover survey presentations on June 19th, the Task Force will <br />set aside 30 minutes to meet with Mr. Biske and Mr. Kunde (Kunde Tree Company) to review <br />the Releal~ grant proposal in more detail. <br /> <br />Mr. Max disclosed that he is writing so£tware for the Kunde Company and he will not be voting <br />on any issues relating to Kunde Company. <br /> <br />For June l0th (6:30 p.m.) agenda preparation purposes, it was estimated that Mr. Max's <br />presentation would take about '/2 hour; likewise for Mr. Biske's presentation; then allow ½ hour <br />Ibr queslions and answers. That leaves fi'om 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to review the Releaf grant <br />proposal. <br /> <br />Case #6 <br /> <br />Recommendation for EPTF Appointment <br /> <br />Consensus was to direct Ms. Frolik to forward a recommendation to the City Council that they <br />appoint Nathan lZl<lund to fill the vacancy on the EPTF. <br /> <br />ACq'ION ITEMS <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik email copies of the final draft of the Tree Preservation Ordinance to all EPTF <br />members, post it and the hearing notice on the website, and forward copies of the hearing <br />notice anct draft ordinance to local developers. <br /> <br />· Mr. Mcl)ilda and Mr. Max to represent EPTF at the June 5 public hearing. <br /> <br />Mt'. McDilda and Mr. Ekhmd draft a list of anticipated "frequently asked questions" <br />about the tree ordinance. Post that list on the website and have copies available at the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />· Ms. Frolik Ibrward the recommendation to have Nathan Eklund appointed to the EPTF. <br /> <br />° Mr. McDilda contact Mr. Reeve regarding continuing participation on the EPTF. <br /> <br /> <br />
