CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Police Chi&James Way <br />City Attomey William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:01 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Olson. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Dale McKusick, 6801 - 157th Lane NW, stated a meeting was held on 157th Lane with the <br />residents in his neighborhood, and the majority of the residents showed up. The specifics of this <br />meeting related to the sewer system going in behind their residence on a ditch-way, and to find <br />out whether it is a possibility for sewer and water to go down 157th Lane. The residents wanted <br />to hold an informal meeting to discuss this. The Councilmember the neighbors thought was their <br />representative actually was not, and unfortunately their actual representative was not able to <br />attend the meeting due to the short notice. Mayor Gamec was able to attend the meeting with <br />very short notice, which was much appreciated. The residents formulated questions to ask of the <br />City Council, which is why they wanted one representative of the Council to be present. Every <br />time City sewer is brought up in the City of Ramsey, no one wants it, but their neighborhood was <br />being proactive to get it onto their street.
