HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 110100-9 <br />57.1 legal guardian, or spouse of a patient who is authorized to use, possess, or transport medical <br />57.2 cannabis flower or medical cannabinoid products. <br />57.3 Subd. 2. Use of cannabis flower and products within a licensed cannabis business. (a) <br />57.4 A cannabis business may not permit an individual who is not an employee to consume <br />57.5 cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer <br />57.6 broducts within its licensed bremises unless the business is licensed to hermit on -site <br />57.7 consumption. <br />57.8 (b) Except as otherwise provided in this subdivision, a cannabis business may not permit <br />57.9 an employee to consume cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, <br />57.10 or hemp -derived consumer products within its licensed premises or while the employee is <br />57.11 otherwise engaged in activities within the course and scope of employment. <br />57.12 (c) A cannabis business may hermit an emnlovee to use medical cannabis flower and <br />57.13 medical cannabinoid products if that individual is a patient. <br />57.14 (d) For aualitv control. emnlovees of a licensed cannabis business may samble cannabis <br />57.15 flower, cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products. <br />57.16 Employees may not interact directly with customers for at least three hours after sampling <br />57.17 a product. Employees may not consume more than three samples in a single 24-hour period. <br />57.18 All samples must be recorded in the statewide monitoring system. <br />57.19 Subd. 3. Restricted access. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this subdivision, a <br />57.20 cannabis business may not permit any individual to enter a restricted area unless the cannabis <br />57.21 business records the individual's name, time of entry, time of exit, and authorization to enter <br />57.22 the restricted area through use of an electronic or manual entry log and the individual: <br />57.23 (1) is a cannabis worker employed by or contracted with the cannabis business; <br />57.24 (2) is an employee of the office or another enforcement agency; <br />57.25 (3) is a contractor of the cannabis business, including but not limited to an electrician, <br />57.26 a plumber, an engineer, or an alarm technician, whose scope of work will not involve the <br />57.27 handling of cannabis flower, cannabis products, or hemp -derived consumer products and, <br />57.28 if the individual is working in an area with immediate access to cannabis flower, cannabis <br />57.29 products, or hemp -derived consumer products, the individual is supervised at all times by <br />57.3o a cannabis worker employed by or contracted with the cannabis business; or <br />57.31 (4) has explicit authorization from the office to enter a restricted area and, if the individual <br />57.32 is in an area with immediate access to cannabis flower, cannabis products, or hemp -derived <br />Article 1 Sec. 24. 57 <br />
