Indoor, outdoor cultivation authorized; security. A business licensed or <br />60.4 authorized to cultivate cannabis may cultivate cannabis plants indoors or outdoors, subject <br />60.5 to the security, fencing, lighting, and any other requirements imposed by the office in rule. <br />60.6 Subd. 8. Seed limitation. The commissioner of agriculture must not issue a genetically <br />60.E engineered agriculturally related organism permit under chapter 18F for cannabis seed or <br />60.8 cannabis plants. A cannabis cultivator must not cultivate a cannabis plant that is a genetically <br />60.9 engineered organism as defined in section 18F.02, subdivision 5. <br />60.10 Subd. 9. Exception. Nothing in this section applies to the cultivation of hemp plants. <br />60.11 Sec. 26. [342.26] MANUFACTURE OF CANNABIS PRODUCTS; GENERAL <br />60.12 REQUIREMENTS. <br />60.13 Subdivision 1. Applicability. Every cannabis business with a license or endorsement <br />60.14 authorizing the creation of cannabis concentrate and manufacture of cannabis products and <br />60.15 hemp -derived consumer products for public consumption must comply with the requirements <br />60.16 of this section. <br />60.17 Subd. 2. All manufacturer operations. (a) Cannabis manufacturing must take place in <br />60.18 an enclosed, locked facility that is used exclusively for the manufacture of cannabis products, <br />60.19 creation of hemp concentrate, creation of artificially derived cannabinoids, creation of <br />60.20 lower -potency hemp edibles, or creation of hemp -derived consumer products, except that <br />60.21 a business that also holds a cannabis cultivator license may operate in a facility that shares <br />60.22 general office space, bathrooms, entryways, and walkways. <br />60.23 (b) Cannabis manufacturing must take place on equipment that is used exclusively for <br />60.24 the manufacture of cannabis products, creation of hemp concentrate, creation of artifMiciall) <br />60.25 derived cannabinoids, creation of lower -potency hemp edibles, or creation of hemp -derived <br />60.26 consumer products. <br />60.27 (c) A business licensed or authorized to manufacture cannabis products must comply <br />60.28 with all applicable packaging, labeling, and health and safety requirements. <br />60.29 Subd. 3. Extraction and concentration. (a) A business licensed or authorized to <br />60.30 manufacture cannabis products that creates cannabis concentrate, hemp concentrate, or <br />60.31 artificially derived cannabinoids must obtain an endorsement from the office. <br />Article 1 Sec. 26. 60 <br />
