HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 110100-9 <br />72.1 Sec. 29. [342.29] CANNABIS MEZZOBUSINESS LICENSING AND OPERATIONS. <br />72.2 Subdivision 1. Authorized actions. A cannabis mezzobusiness license, consistent with <br />72.3 the specific license endorsement or endorsements, entitles the license holder to perform any <br />72.4 or all of the following within the limits established by this section: <br />72.5 (1) grow cannabis plants from seed or immature plant to mature plant and harvest <br />72.6 cannabis flower from a mature plant; <br />72.7 (2) make cannabis concentrate: <br />72.8 (3) make hemp concentrate, including hemp concentrate with a delta-9 <br />72.9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of more than 0.3 percent as measured by weight; <br />72.10 (4) manufacture artificially derived cannabinoids; <br />72.11 (5) manufacture adult -use cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, and <br />72.12 hemp -derived consumer products for public consumption; <br />72.13 (6) purchase immature cannabis plants and seedlings, cannabis flower, and hemp plant <br />72.14 parts from a cannabis microbusiness, another cannabis mezzobusiness, a cannabis <br />72.15 manufacturer, a cannabis wholesaler, or an industrial hemp grower; <br />72.16 (7) purchase cannabis concentrate, hemp concentrate, and artificially derived cannabinoids <br />72.17 from a cannabis microbusiness, another cannabis mezzobusiness, a cannabis manufacturer, <br />72.18 a cannabis wholesaler, or a licensed hemp grower for use in manufacturing adult -use cannabis <br />72.19 products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products, <br />72.20 (8) package and label adult -use cannabis flower, adult -use cannabis products, <br />72.21 lower -potency hemp edibles, and hemp -derived consumer products for sale to customers; <br />72.22 (9) sell immature cannabis plants and seedlings, adult -use cannabis flower, adult -use <br />72.23 cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, hemp -derived consumer products, and <br />72.24 other products authorized by law to other cannabis businesses and to customers; and <br />72.25 (10) perform other actions approved by the office. <br />72.26 Subd. 2. Size limitations. (a) A cannabis mezzobusiness that cultivates cannabis at an <br />72.27 indoor facility may cultivate up to 5,000 square feet of plant canopy unless the office, by <br />72.28 rule, increases that limit. The office may, by rule, increase the limit on plant canopy to no <br />72.29 more than 15,000 cubic feet if the office determines that expansion is consistent with the <br />72.30 goals identified in section 342.02, subdivision 1. Limitations on plant canopy apply to the <br />72.31 area in which mature, flowering plants are cultivated. A cannabis mezzobusiness may not <br />72.32 operate multiple tiers of cultivation unless authorized by the office. <br />Article 1 Sec. 29. 72 <br />
