HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 110100-9 <br />89.1 (c) Authorized retailers may only conduct sales within their specifically assigned area. <br />89.2 (d) Authorized retailers must verify the age of all customers pursuant to section 342.27, <br />89.3 subdivision 4, before completing a sale and may not sell cannabis plants, adult -use cannabis <br />89.4 flower, adult -use cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer <br />89.5 products to an individual under 21 years of age. <br />89.6 (e) Authorized retailers may display one sample of each type of cannabis plant, adult -use <br />89.E cannabis flower, adult -use cannabis product, lower -potency hemp edible, and hemp -derived <br />89.8 consumer product available for sale. Samples of adult -use cannabis and adult -use cannabis <br />89.9 products must be stored in a sample jar or display case and be accompanied by a label or <br />89.10 notice containing the information required to be affixed to the packaging or container <br />89.11 containing adult -use cannabis flower and adult -use cannabis products sold to customers. A <br />89.12 sample may not consist of more than eight grams of adult -use cannabis flower or adult -use <br />89.13 cannabis concentrate, or an edible cannabis product infused with more than 100 milligrams <br />89.14 of tetrahydrocannabinol. A cannabis retailer may allow customers to smell the adult -use <br />89.15 cannabis flower or adult -use cannabis broduct before burchase. <br />89.16 (f) The notice requirements under section 342.27, subdivision 6, apply to authorized <br />89.17 retailers offering cannabis plants, adult -use cannabis flower, adult -use cannabinoid products, <br />89.18 and hemp -derived consumer products for sale at a cannabis event. <br />89.19 (a) Authorized retailers may not: <br />89.20 (1) sell adult -use cannabis flower, adult -use cannabis products, lower -potency hem <br />89.21 edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products to a person who is visibly intoxicated; <br />89.22 (2) knowingly sell more cannabis plants, adult -use cannabis flower, adult -use cannabis <br />89.23 products, lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products than a customer <br />89.24 is legally permitted to possess; <br />89.25 (3) sell medical cannabis flower or medical cannabinoid products; <br />89.26 (4) give away cannabis plants, cannabis flower, cannabis products, lower -potency hemp <br />89.27 edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products; or <br />89.28 (5) allow for the dispensing of cannabis plants, cannabis flower, cannabis products, <br />89.29 lower -potency hemp edibles, or hemp -derived consumer products in vending machines. <br />89.30 (h) Except for samples of a cannabis plant, adult -use cannabis flower, adult -use cannabis <br />89.31 product, lower -potency hemp edible, and hemp -derived consumer product, all cannabis <br />89.32 plants, adult -use cannabis flower, adult -use cannabis products, lower -potency hemp edibles, <br />89.33 and hemp -derived consumer products for sale at a cannabis event must be stored in a secure, <br />Article 1 Sec. 40. 89 <br />
