HF100 NINTH ENGROSSMENT REVISOR BD 1-10100-9 <br />118.1 (d) Federal, state, and local law enforcement authorities are prohibited from accessing <br />118.2 the registry except when acting pursuant to a valid search warrant. Notwithstanding section <br />118.3 13.09, a violation of this paragraph is a gross misdemeanor. <br />118.4 (e) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the office and employees of the office must <br />118.5 not release data or information about an individual contained in any report or document or <br />118.6 in the registry and must not release data or information obtained about a patient enrolled in <br />118.7 the registry program, except as provided in sections 342.47 to 342.60. Notwithstanding <br />118.8 section 13.09, a violation of this paragraph is a gross misdemeanor. <br />118.9 (f) No information contained in a report or document, contained in the registry, or <br />i18.io obtained from a patient under sections 342.47 to 342.60 may be admitted as evidence in a <br />118.11 criminal proceeding, unless: <br />118.12 (1) the information is independently obtained; or <br />118.13 (2) admission of the information is sought in a criminal proceeding involving a criminal <br />118.14 violation of sections 342.47 to 342.60. <br />118.15 (g) Possession of a registry verification or an application for enrollment in the registry <br />118.16 program: <br />118.17 (1) does not constitute probable cause or reasonable suspicion; <br />118.18 (2) must not be used to support a search of the person or property of the person with a <br />118.19 registry verification or application to enroll in the registry program; and <br />118.20 (3) must not subject the person or the property of the person to inspection by any <br />118.21 government agency. <br />118.22 Subd. 3. School enrollment; rental property. (a) No school may refuse to enroll a <br />118.23 patient as a pupil or otherwise penalize a patient solely because the patient is enrolled in <br />118.24 the registry program, unless failing to do so would violate federal law or regulations or <br />118.25 cause the school to lose a monetary or licensing -related benefit under federal law or <br />118.26 regulations. <br />118.27 (b) No landlord may refuse to lease to a patient or otherwise penalize a patient solely <br />118.28 because the patient is enrolled in the registry program, unless failing to do so would violate <br />118.29 federal law or regulations or cause the landlord to lose a monetary or licensing -related <br />118.3o benefit under federal law or regulations. <br />118.31 Subd. 4. Medical care. For purposes of medical care, including organ transplants, a <br />118.32 batient's use of medical cannabis flower or medical cannabinoid broducts according to <br />Article 1 Sec. 57. 118 <br />
