MINUTES ANOKA/CHAMPLIN/RAMSEY CABLE COMMISSION October 9, 1980 Present: Directors--Jerry Dulgar, Anoka Don Melrose, Anoka Dan Hartman, Champlin Dean Rick, Champlin Lloyd Schnelle, Ramsey Gary Reimann, Ramsey Attorney - Tom Creighton II. III. IV. The Minutes of August 27, 1980 were approved. Report of Counsel. Tom Creighton reported that the needs assessments for the three cities had been distributed. The cities reported that needs assessments had been mailed and completed assessments returned. The assessments were in the process of being tabulated and would be sent to Tom Creighton as soon as that tabulation was complete. Mr. Creighton reported that in response to our concern, the Andover proposal for amendment of the cable service territory had been changed and appeared now to be consistent with our recommendations. New Business. A. The Commission considered the Andover request for cable service territory amendment. Motion 10.9.1. Adopted. The iCable Commission accepts the most recent request of the city of Andover to amend the cable service territory to include the City of Andover, provided, that the proposal reflect that any service to the City of Andover's sparsely populated areas would be consistent with the language in the original cable service territory dealing with the sparsely populated areas of the city of Ramsey. B. Motion 10.9.2. Adopted. T~e city of Andover will be admitted to the Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey Cable Commis- sion upon the meeting of the following requirements: The city shall promptly survey a random sample of its citizens utilizing the same needs assessment form which was used by the cities of Anoka, Champlin, and Ramsey.
