AGREEI~NT <br /> <br />Agreement made this 25 thday of October, 1976, bctween the City of <br />Ramsey (hereinafter "Ramsey") and the City of Anoka (hereinafter "Anoka") <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH THAT: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka is the fee title owner of the following described <br /> <br />real property located in Ramsey: <br /> .Parcel 1: <br /> The South one half (S 1/2) of the Southeast one quarter (SE 1/4) <br /> - of Section 22, Township 32, Range 25, in the Township of Ramsey, <br /> County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. <br /> Parcel 2: <br /> The North one half (N 1/2) of the Northeast one quarter (NE 1/4) <br /> of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, in the Township of Ramsey, <br /> County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. <br /> <br /> WHEP~E~S, Anoka has entered into a lease agreement with Waste <br /> Management of Minnesota, Inc., a Minnesota corporation (hereinafter "WMMI"]. <br /> the term of said lease agreement being for a period of five years, commencing <br /> November 1, 1976, and terminating October 31, 19811 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the %nrpose of said lease is to permit %%~MI to operate <br /> <br /> a landfill operation on the above described premises, and <br /> WI{EREAS,' Ramsey has entered into an agreement with k~5~ dated October <br /> 1976, the purpose of which agreement is to provide controls to Ramsey while ~ <br /> the landfill is in operation within its corporate limits and further to <br /> provide revenue to Ramsey for expenses incurred as a result of the landfill <br /> being located in Ramsey and further to provide revenues to Ramsey for the <br /> eventual transformation of the landfill site into a useful p~oductive site <br /> as a public recreational area, and <br /> <br /> <br />
