WI~EREAS, by a resolution of the Anoka City Commission dated April 14, <br />1967 a "Statements of Policy and intent by the City of Anoka r~garding the <br />proposed operation of a sanitary landfill in Ramsey Township" was adopted <br />by Anoka, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, item number 5 of the resolution referred to above states <br />"The entire tract of land will ultimately be aimed at public use <br />development, i.e., recreation, parks, etc., which will enhance the value <br />of the abutting and surrounding properties" and <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, Anoka does not desire to establish, develop or maintain <br /> <br />any public'use areas within Ramsey; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed by and between the parties hereto: <br />1. ~Anoka.will convey fee title by Deed to the landfill site to <br />Ramsey no sooner than October 31, 1981, and no later than December 1, 1981. <br />The legal description of the property to be conveyad is'legally described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Parcel 1.- <br /> <br /> The South one half ( S 1/2) of the Southeast one quarter (SE 1/4) <br /> of_S~ctio~ 22,'Township 32, Range 25,'in the Township ~f Ramsey, ~ <br /> County of Anoka, State nf Minnesota. <br /> <br /> Parcel 2 <br /> <br /> The North one half (N 1/2) of the Northeast one quarter.(NE 1/4) <br /> of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, in the Township of Ramsey, <br /> County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. . <br /> <br /> 2. In consideration of the aforedescribed conveyance Ramsey covenants <br /> and agrees that the property so conveyed shall be used for public recreation <br /> purpose~'unless and until the parties hereto shall agree otherwise, ahd as <br /> further consideration Ramsey shall be responsible for any and all costs <br /> incurred in the development of the subject premises for public use. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
