CASE #7: <br /> <br />CASE #8: <br /> <br />CASE #9: <br /> <br />GRANTING OF A BUILDING pERMIT PRIOR TO PLATTING PROPERTY <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR; CASE OF JACK MENKVELD: <br /> <br />Jack Menkveld will be present to discuss with the City Council <br />about granting a building permit prior to completion of platting. <br /> <br />Ralph's Country Meats wants to build a store at the corner of <br />Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and the Burlington Norther tracks and they <br />want to get it accomplished this year. The City Attorney thinks <br />the City has approved of a similar situation when you granted <br />Holker permission to build a house on a 40 acre psrcel prior <br />to completion of the plat. <br /> <br />GOVERNOR'S REPLY TO COUNCILRESOLUTION #80-77: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-e) contains the Governor's letter in response to <br />the City of Ramsey's resolution #80-77 (Please refer to your <br />Council agenda dated August 26, 1980 under Council 01d Business <br />D-2 case #1 for Council resolution #80-77). <br /> <br />It appears that the Governor wants ns to initiate the appro- <br />priate legislative action with the communities who are unhappy <br />with the Metro Council's guideline plan so that legislation can <br />be initiated at his end. <br /> <br />CORRECTION OF JULY 8, 1980 ~INUTES REGARDING TUNGSTEN STREET <br /> <br />]I~PROVt~V[ENT: <br /> <br />The motion ordering the preparation of report for the Tungsten <br />Street Improvement should be corrected to read: <br /> <br />"Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman <br />ReLmann to adopt Resolution #80-66a Ordering Preparation of <br />Report on Improvement for the improvement of Tungsten Street <br />RivlynAvenue and Front Street. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, <br />Mickelson, Reimann and Cox.
