CASE #4:

CASE #5:

CASE #6:

The estimated cost of this project is estimated around $5,000
which could easily be budgeted for now for 1981.
Council Action: Your action will be as follows:
a) To accept the bulletin board signs and thank the Lions
Club.

b) To approve/disapprove the directory sign to the commercial
and industrial districts in Ramsey

CITIZENS REQUESTING TRAFFIC SAFETY SIGNS ON NEWLY PAMED STREETS
"SLOW CHILDREN PLAYING":
We're receiving calls in regards to having street signs installed
that warn motorists "Watch out for Children". A particular area
is 176th and Baugh Street they would like such signs instayled.
Council Action: This is really a policy decision as we could
put this type of signing all through Ramsey and lose the
effectiveness of it if we install them indiscriminately.

USE OF LOWER SECTION OF THE P~SEY IfJNICIPAL CENTER:

According to enclosure (D3-c) which contains the Building
Inspector's memo dated September 17, 1980, we have a potential
liability whenever we allow groups to use the lower section
of the Ramsey Municipal Center due to the lack of completion
of it.

Problem: This problem came about by allowing the volunteer
mothers who work at the school two days per week (Tuesdays
and Thursdays) to leave their small children here at the City
Hall under the care of a volunteer mother in the fire meeting
room. The problems listed in enclosure (D3-c) really pertains
to any group who want to use the lower section of the Ramsey
Musicipal Center. In checking with our insurance carrier,
they didn't think there was a problem, however, they would
get back to me on it.

Council Action: I think Council action on this issue would be
to adopt a resolution whereby you establish the policy on the
granting of permission to the different groups to use the City
Hall. You may desire to have the City Administrator to grant
the permission.
tbESOLUTION FOR ISSUANCE OF I~ROVEMENT BONDS (PROJECT #80-15

AND #80-16):

Council will have to adopt the above stated resolution for
street improvement projects #80-15 and #80-16.
Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove
adopting the above resolution.
