CASE #3: Planning Conmmission action on this case was to refer it to Couucil for the following reasons: a) The Mox's do not want to plat the ten acre parcel. b) They do not want to subdivide by metes ~nd bounds. c) They do not even want to do a survey of the property. d) What they w~ut is a complete variance from the City's subdivision code to build a second house on a ten acre parcel of record. e) The Planning and Zoning Commission recon~nendation to the Council was that they would only recommend platting the above parcel, in accordance with the City Code. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the Mox's request. If you approve of their request, you had probably better have a finding of fact prepared on it before you approve of it. Reason - Council l~as in the past several years held fast on the platting of land. Also there are other problems in this case which would have to be addressed such as: a) Park fee b) Egress and ingress to a thoroughfare street (County Road #83) c) Required survey in order to obtain a building permit. ~ULLETIN BOARD SIGN AT CITY HALL AND DIRECTORY SIGNS TO ALL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL AREAS: The Publicity Con~nittee which is a sub-committee of the Ramsey Economic Development Committee (members: Bob Muller, Roger Erickson, Lee Crawley and Arnie Cox) have items for Council action: .... a) Bulletin Board Sign to be located at City Hall.: ~. Zellmark of the Lions Club will donate this sign to~the~ City/ as their annual project. The cost of this sign is~pproxi~ mat ely $4,500. ~ "~- b) Directory Signs for Business and Industrisl Areas: The above sub-committee is recommending to the City Coun,'~il that they install this type of directory signing in Rmmsey which many communities use now days. In communities like Ramsey where you have such a large land area, these signs are very beneficial.
