Do you know <br />what to do if a friend insists on driving after he has had too much to <br />drink? These and other questions will be answered at the Ramsey Police <br />Department's DWI Clinic to be held at the City Hall on December 15, 1980 <br />at 8:00 P.M. ~ A film entitled "Driving Under the Influence" will be <br />shown. This film was developed by the Los Angeles Police Department with <br />the help of many residents of Los Angeles County. The f'ilm shows how <br />alcohol.affects people differently and how these people react in driving <br />situations while under the influence of alcohol. Many people do not under- <br />stand the DWI laws or. how alcohol affects them. <br /> <br />Have you ever tried to sober someone up with cold showers and black coffee? <br />If you did you didn't succeed because these remedies only make a person more <br />wide awak. They do not make him more sober. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Which is more intoxicating: <br />a) 12 oz. can of strong beer <br />b) A one ounce glass of 100 proof liquor <br />c ) A 6 ounce glass of wine <br />The answer is that all are equal in their effect on the body. <br /> <br />We hope that you will be able to attend this clinic. <br /> <br />The Ramsey Police Department wishes everyone a very Merry and Sober <br />Holiday Season. <br />
