.

.

~

Burglary Seminars

The Ramsey PoliceDepartment has been conducting an ongoing Burglary Seminar
program for the benefi t of the .citi zens of Ramsey. However, the response
has been poor. We are willing to help all residents make their home a more
secure and safe place to live. We conduct informal seminars which show
residents how a burglary is committed and what they can do to thwart such
an attempt.

We also promote Operation 10, which is a program whereby residents mark
their property with a number so that the items can be easily traced by
law enforcement agencies anywhere in the country. There is an organiz-
ation that has come into Minnesota that sells this service to the public.
We urge people to use Operation 10, which is free and offered by the Pol ice
Dept.- We.provideinformation. on burgl aral arms, locks , and other hardware
to secure your house.

These.seminars are conducted at the Ramsey Municipal Center, or if you choose,
righLin your.own-neighborhood. These seminars are free and a public service
of the Ramsey Pol ice Department.

Take a look around your house and you will realize what you have to loose
if a burglar gets in. Burglars are notdfussy about what they take but are
specially interested in audio equipment, tools, cash, jewelry, guns and TV's.
Let us help you IICure the Common Burglary".

Ramsey Po 1i ce Depa rtment
