Harold Hunt, an adjoining property owner, questioned a road extension ease- ment to be put in for future development of land. M~. Roger Meyer was also in attendance requesting an extension of a road. The consensus of the'P g Z Commission is to ~ecommend to the City Council the approval of the' p~ellmlnary plat with the following changes. That a ~oad easement be provided to 6onnect the properties on the east side of Ramsey Ridge to Sapphire St-~eet. This ~oad shou/d be located between lots ~ 3 and ~4 of Block 3, Ramsey R~dge Plat. 2) That Sapphire Street'extend to %71st Ave to llne with the existing 171Av coming out on'Variolite Street. 3) ~nat lot 1 of block 1 be changed to include part of lot 2 to allow a mor~ buildable lot~ The Engineer commented on the drainage ditches and City Administrator Schnelle suggested that easemtns be acquired for the ditches. Motion by Ben Deemer, seconded by Ron' West to recommend to the City Council the approval of Ramsey Ridge P~eliminaxhr Plat with the above cor~ectlons and the Engineer's recommendations. Motion carried. 6-0. VERNDALEPROPERTIES-SKETCH:PLAN: West pzesented two plans- to ~ubdivide into two -lots and-one outlot. The P&Z Comission favors Plan B and M~..West should call for a public hearing for' !~llmlnaz~ Plat approval in Januarht. · JACK 'MENKVELD 'SKETCH PLAN; 'AGREEMENT 'TO PLAT PROPERTY 'AT ARMSTRONG BLVD AND'HIGHWAY ~0 and169 Jack Menkveld presented the sketch plan to the-M&Z Commission. The consensus of'~he commission' is to recommend to the Council the approval of the sketch plan contingent on'all ite~ on the englneez~ report. Motion by Ben Deemers- seconded' by Kathy Schneider to adjour~ the Planning and Zoning Meeting. Meeting adjourned at 9:10 P.M.
